Ann M. Alves
Ann M. Alves, Esq. received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University in 2001 and graduated from Fordham University School of Law receiving her Juris Doctor in 2004. At Fordham Law School, Ms. Alves was Managing Editor of the Brendan Moore Trial Advocacy Center and competed in various national trial advocacy competitions.
Ms. Alves was admitted to the New Jersey State Bar in December 2004 and the New York State Bar in April 2005. Ms. Alves’ primary area of practice is matrimonial and family law. Ms. Alves has been a member of the American Bar Association since 2004 and is also a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association.
Ms. Alves previously worked for the Legal Aid Society of Nassau County where she handled hundreds of contested child support matters as well as child custody and family offense cases. Ms. Alves appeared in court on a daily basis where she not only developed her trial advocacy skills but negotiated favorable settlements.
